Utah real estate is active. There are more seller financing, VA and lease option deals in the works. Conventional and FHA loans still make up the bulk of financing options for most home buyers. Our Average days on the market for Salt Lake County is up to 88. Davis County days on the market is 78. Weber County homes are staying on the market longer averaging 92 days on the market and Utah County days on the market is 93. Here in Utah, we still have good market conditions. Now that April 1, 2009 has past and the suspension is lifted for Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae evictions will there be an onslaught of foreclosures available? Haven't seen evidence of that yet. As of today April 17, 2009 there are only 28 HUD Homes listed along the Wasatch Front price ranges $48,000 and up. Close to 180 Bank Owned Homes sitting active for sale. HomeSteps e-mail reports showing the usual number coming up for sale this week.
